Vintage Notions Give away

Wanted to share an offer that comes to us through Amy Barickman . She has generously offered You and I a free copy of her book Vintage Notions as well as an adorable pattern called Boudoir Basics. Cutest PJ's ever! Just leave a comment below for Friday's drawing.

Amy's book is a charming coffee table book with an instant flavor of historical southern charm. As the title suggests, It's vintage feel is what inspires me the most. A book rich in heritage with essays, recipe and decorating ideas, and of course, sweet vintage sewing prompts. I like the idea that the book is broken down into months and seasons....and cute little book pockets after each one!

If I could say anything I dislike about the book is that is makes me long for times when women spoke and lived as so much of this book depicts ! You will love it! Hope you win it!

Sending Joy to you this day, my friends!! XOXO

I sent a copy of the book to my mom for Christmas, but I hadn't actually seen the book until last weekend when we stopped by Borders. What a charming book! I would love to have a copy to peruse and enjoy myself. Thank you for the opportunity! I appreciate your blog and want to thank you for sharing regularly as well! Have a great day!

I'm in! I'm in! I'm in! I loved what you said about longing for the days when women lived in a world that is depicted in this book. I can only guess, without having seen the book that it was a much more simple life where spending time with friends and neighbors doing "ordinary" stuff was the norm....I'd pick you for a neighbor:) Wouldn't that be FUN?!

Such a thoughtful giveaway!
