Sweet Inspiration

Time for a little rainy day crafting with some youth group friends today. Spring break here and many have flown south, so my Anna (right) and I decided to play a bit while the boys were playing basketball and Wii indoors today at Chruch. They made the greatest necklaces with these Tim Holtz tags. We also created a collage on wood, and I was so into creating my own, I forgot to take pictures! Teen time is good. Roller skating tomorrow....pizza factory Thursday...and then perhaps a little family road trip. Treasure hunting sounds good! I can forgo the sunshine for that, any day! Hope you have a fun week, sunshine or rain and with a teenager if you can too!! How can you insprire one today? Maybe one inspired you too! I know they did me. Sending you patience and inspiration today my friends! Love! XO

Precious post, beautiful daughter! You're inspiring me to spend some 1/1 time with my preteen. BTW, love your blog header text. :)

Last night the last baby bird in the nest and I sat up discussing the upcoming March Madness basketball games. Hey...no amount of inspiring talk would get him to my craft room for a little art time. So a mother's got to get creative in spending time with her boy! But no need to feel sorry for this mother, she loves basketball too! Sounds like you have a fun week planned! EnJOY! Xo

You girls are so cute...and inspiring to post here too. As for Sue.....no, not feeling sorry for you~ because I am jealous of you for having that great boy! Too funny!......mine would be on a tractor or fixing a car or something I am afraid around here and not too much into my craft room I can only imagine. Enjoy those teen boys too my friends!
