Goodness Gracious Charlotte!

She inspires me so............. I have this sweet purse from Charlotte's Etsy shop that I adore! Been carrying it around at the County Fair. Love it's packaged perfect timing at my door step this week. Thankyou Charlotte! Trueman says Hello too, of course.

Then be sure and check out the PDF file for this adorable Turtle that she has for sale........I worked on it last weekend. He's so silly with sequin eyes, don't you think? Can't wait to pick him back up. Proceeds go to Save the Turtles" fund!!
For now, the Fair has our attention and more news to share there soon. So many fun things going on in all the blogs I have seen this Summer. Family trips, art events..... Such fun to see all your travels and adventures my friends! It reminds me of a favorite quote of mine for this Summer....
"People don't take trips. Trips take people" John Steinbeck.

Hey there, friend!
So nice to see you surface in blogland! Sounds like the trips have been taking you, too! {love the quote!} The words "county fair" conjures up a boatload of wonderful childhood memories. Having grown up in the heart of dairyland, the county fair was THE biggie of summer! 4-H barns filled to the brim with baking, crafts, cows, pigs, sheep, rabbits...you name it, it was in a barn somewhere. Speak nothing of cotton candy, snow cones, the rides, the grandstand...those were the days. But I digress...

LOVE your new tote from Charlotte! And having Trueman in the photo only adds to the charm of it all. Is he standing close by because you have a cupcake or something in that tote?! Something in his eyes tells me he is thinking of something mischievious. LOL! I've seen a few other posts on this little turtle project too...very fun and whimsical!

Hope you're thriving in the heat...Xo, Sue

p.s. Is there anything in the blog etiquette rules that says the number of words in a comment form should not exceed the number of words in the author's post?

I just got home from our county fair where I was taking tickets. It was hot, hot, hot but the people kept streaming in! My main man has been on the fair board for ages so we are involved in all aspects of the fair. Mostly fun!

I'm so glad you found ME so I could find YOU! Good luck on my giveaway!
