Do you know that those longings and desires of your heart were placed there by a loving all knowing God? He knows them! Let's remember to talk to him about them...and seek out how they fit into the scheme of bigger things in our lives. They truely bring us Joy. Thank you for this reminder! I sometimes forget that those tiny whispers I hear and the deep longings I have are from God. That He wants me to be creative.I tend to feel they are selfish feelings and I should just get to work and not enjoy what I am doing. I needed this little push back to the truth!

This has long been a favorite of mine....I actually think it is the verse that appeared on one of those name plaques for my specific name. These were hugely popular in Christian bookstores like 20-something years ago!
Such simple, yet a profound message when applied to life....
