Something struck me yesterday when I picked this book up at Church off of the welcome center table....and back from it's "tour"............. I mean literally it is falling apart! As I picked it up I noticed that the book "Spilling Open" has my name between it and "The Art of Becoming yourself" underneath. Me, personally! I AM becoming myself, it is an art and it is a process. Boy I needed to hear that! Although this isn't a Christian book, per say~ it is a helpful tool with so much honest expression that you can't help but think and ponder deeper into your own self. This reminded me about another book of Sabrina Ward Harrison's that I have had for a year and not got into............ The True and the Questions......a Journal. Started that yesterday and wowie...........God is so good to give us just what we need when we need it. Today I am grateful. "Come off by yourselves; Let's take a break and get a little rest." So hilarious how your name was so "well positioned" between the title and sub-title : ). It's a lifelong process; isn't it? I feel like God just keeps untangling me one strand at a time. He is GOOD!

Spilling Open...what a great title. Now my curiosity has the best of me. Hoping to get in a bookstore run before we head to the beach. May have to peek for this one. And yes, becoming ourselves is an ongoing process. I love Shelley's take on this as well. That girl does have a special gift when it comes to expressing herself in words!
