Feeling not-so creative? grab some cardboard and just paint....uh scrape or whatever you call it. This is my favorite technique to add color for my journal pages these days. What started out as a warm up on cardboard, turned into a full blown class idea. Heart Art of course! My hope is to start sharing a bit of that with you in the next few months. For now, just wanted to pass along what I am learning as well. YOU CAN DO THIS! XO

St. Louis is darling. I really hope if you are considering it, that you will give it a whirl. What a great idea to inspire us into the Christmas season!! Thank you Mary and Barbara! XO

Inspired
Inspired by Charlotte Lyons again.........always. First cleaning out her studio, then her challenge of letting some things go.......and then this sweet poodle. I love how his eyes sparkle as he watches over my own studio. "You have everything you need for life and sparkliness" resonates with me right now. Generosity makes us sparkle! Thank you Dear Charlotte! Praying you all have more than enough sparkle to give away today my friends! Sending love! XO

Think. Be. Do.
Just so inspired by all the projects the girls turned out for my Heart ARt breakout session at One Girl Can Change The World. A conference for teens and now tweens, based on the book written by my friends Claudia Mitchell and Kim Goad. (click here)
Thought you would like a peek at the inspiring work of my girls session too!
I"m wearing the sweet necklace that Hope gave me on here too.
Such inspiration for sure! Stamped, stitched, stapled and glued! These girls know how to have fun!
Each piece so unique just like the precious girls that made them. My devotion to the heart spoke about just that. Beauty everywhere.
From writst wrap to headband, and even a suggestion to make a belt. Their creativity fueled me, of course!
I think they enjoyed stitching even though they might have not expected that as the class. Everyone did beautifully. Brave girls in art and in Life! Think on such things. Be yourself. Go make a difference and enjoy the journey!
Sending Hope for your week, whatever that looks like! XOXO
ps~Thank you to Anna and Josie for decorating the board in my room for HeartARt!

Hope you are all having a creative week....and if you need a jump start you can find inspiration on this sidebar with Amy's summer creative publication! I am itching to make those hot air ballons she shows us............stay tuned!! Sending Love! XO
