Just for fun

What is your favorite medium this week? I know it changes, if you are like me. I can pretty much guess you like a lot of them, too! Oh it's too hard to pick one............how about TWO favorite mediums this week?! Mine are (you might have guessed it!) acrylic paint and vintage wallpaper. .......... Oh, but I can hear the call of some stitching out there somewhere.....sigh!

Art lately

These are just results of an itch I have had to scratch lately. Mostly this past rainy weekend.
Thought you might enjoy the artful eye candy:) Check out the green seaglass I have wrapped for a bracelet for my friend Blue. She and her son found a treasure trove of this on the beach recently and I was truely inspired to create with it. Yes, I love it when I itch like this! I think when I itch this bad that I am working out something in my heart. It's a good thing:) Tell me what you are itching for right now. Happy itchy day my friends.........I mean that in the bestest way:)

Spilling over to the outside

Spilling over right now. My eye roves from all of these lovely piles of fun projects then to the fun outdoors just beyond. The white dogwood, the green fields out back and trees budding all around.
You probably feel the same right now! Torn between the indoors and those outdoor projects we have yearned for all winter. Perhaps we can do a little of both! I'll need a little more rest and a little less running around silly. Time to be at home and work out the longings of my heart these next few weeks. Saying No to the world and Yes to home sweet home. I think you get that! Sometimes we need to sit still and let the roots take hold, don't we? Live intentional. Live artful and fully in what we were made to be and live and breathe life into............Our home! ..........Then we can spill over again, to the outside! A hug for you and your home today~ Be well my friends! XO

Integrity with Joy

Just a little peek at a thankyou gift for someone this weekend. Last minute inspiration is so fun! The trip itself has been planned for months and because of that we have 50 some women going. Going to get a fresh new revelation of truth and JOY. The conference is called Women of Joy. Isn't that what we ALL want to be??
I wanted to share a scripture from this morning with you. Psalm 41:12. "In my integrity you uphold me and set me in your presence forever."
That word Integrity got my attention. Check out what my dictonary said....completeness; wholeness. unimpaired condition, soundness. honesty, sincerity. A little different than what my brain had tagged to that word.
Isn't that what we all want too? Well then, I'm wishing you Integrity with Joy this weekend my friends. Somehow I think that if we have this Integrity thing then we just can't help from being those women of joy!!!! XXOO

Matchmaker, Matchmaker

.....Don't make the cute one, top right a match just yet...........she's only in 7th grade! She sang and danced thru this sweet theatre favorite Fiddler on the roof. It was truely amazing to see these Middle School kids pull off such a dynamite performance. As for Chava (pronounced Hava) ....... and better known as my Anna, she totally blew her 3 sisters away, made them, me and her Dad cry. Shhhh.....don't tell him I told though. In fact, others there have told me she made them cry when Chava was crying for her Papa. La Queen De La Drama. Our hearts are full when our children are blessed with good and perfect gifts. Thankyou to everyone who came to support the program and Anna~ And for your weekend~Mazel Tov!

Good Friday thoughts

I love how sweet messages make their way to us. I wanted to share one for today, Good Friday. You see God's timing is good and perfect.
He and I have had an understanding lately. I wasn't living up to my end of the bargain. But we had a code word. Want to guess what that word is? Yes, Darling! Today, Lisa and Hope gave me this cup from an excursion they had made back in the Fall. It just means something to me.
His timing is perfect and His ways are marvelous and beyond our wildest imaginations. Our little inside code word was based on the song that sings "The darling of Heaven was crucified........worthy is the lamb........." Yes, indeed He is worthy. I love that he gently reminds us children~ His children. So thankful for Good Friday. Feel the hug my friends and Happy, Happy Easter! XO
