Breathe

It's been all about breathing lately:) I mean it's inspiring when a word comes at you over and over again...........and you just have to have your antennae up and search it out! We were talking last night..........the

cute Monday night girls and I.........about breathing. That it is the first thing a new baby does, and the last thing that happens before dying. It is so simple, yet so profound, this breathing. We normally do it without really thinking about it much, yet it is LIFE! God first breathed life into Adam.....and so He breathes in us. I love the above stamp I had purchased from Jenny Doh's website. Lots of good breathing in and out going on there too. Breathe Deeply my friends!

Details

Don't you just love the details?? I often stop and ponder all the details and how nothing is by chance......all things. Good and bad being woven into a beautiful tapestry. They make up the whole picture, these details. People, places, events and all of that which goes with them!

I love how the opportunity to be in Somerset Magazine recently was woven into my tapestry~ Thanks to Fellow artists, Kim Caldwell's submission and Gina Grable's collaboration.
There are soooooo many inspiring artists who have such great ideas and work, and I am honored! Many threads and lives throughout this tapestry.........so exciting what threads will be added next too! Go ahead submit something! You should! Thankyou for your kind words of encouragement about this. I treasure each one! Again, I am honored with you in mind!

More color

Yes, still playing with color. This time, I found the little green display shelf at a local thrift store for $8 last week and have added all my paints. The good news is, it held them ~the bad news is there isn't room for any more! All in all a much better way to see my colors. It also propelled me to clear off that same table, and regroup a project which then, in turn inspired me to work on a swap I am in for the upcoming Silver Bella . Love when this happens!

I love how one things leads to another. Thinking on good things, and going toward my bliss. Moving toward the creative part of me and away from that which holds me down. Guess color has a way of bouncing me out and off to a new direction...........hope your week is off to a good start girls. Enjoy being colorful you!! XO

...This is me. Yes, I waited until my daughter took one I liked....it took me a while, but Yes, I too am One Girl who makes a difference and you are too! Good days and Bad. I remember always hearing "Beauty is, as beauty does" growing up, but I don't always do or say the right thing. How about beauty is~ because it is. It"s all about the heart. God must be so pleased when we look beyond and see hearts. Others, His............ Our own! Here is one heart I adore......

Some artful friends are meeting up in a bit to treasure hunt at a nearby flea market for an hour. Cracks me up:)

Somedays, only COLOR will do.

These art folders turned out to be so good for me these past two days. Color can be such good therapy on days when we need to work out our joy. I do mean "work it out"......wiggle it up to the top, right? Just a little push now and then.

I'm sure after these funny folders, it can now begin to trickle out my ears:) Well, if not Joy then maybe paint.....lots of it too! Colorful days to you and you and you!! XO

Boring folders? I think not!

Paint acrylics on outer side of a folder or two and let it dry. I know, hard, huh?? Cut your papers, scalloping them by hand. Nothing too perfect. Don't even have to think too hard about colors. Just pick the ones you like. Now the glue!

Hint: close the folder before wrapping around the paper to the back. Add words.......hearts, etc. I will too!

This simple project is so for you, my colorful friends!

I was Inspired by Melody Ross and her 5 gallon bucket, but didn't have one early today when I saw her blog post. Twinkle

Just loved the twinkle in this fella's eyes:) I had to copy and make 2 pictures of him. Fastest page ever here..........and another one on Flickr on my sidebar to see from a week ago.
Although I have a heart for girls of all ages......... I'm thinking of all those great boys we have too:) Here's to the boys! Oh and especially those that twinkle. XO
