Goodness Gracious Charlotte!

She inspires me so............. I have this sweet purse from Charlotte's Etsy shop that I adore! Been carrying it around at the County Fair. Love it's packaged perfect timing at my door step this week. Thankyou Charlotte! Trueman says Hello too, of course.

Then be sure and check out the PDF file for this adorable Turtle that she has for sale........I worked on it last weekend. He's so silly with sequin eyes, don't you think? Can't wait to pick him back up. Proceeds go to Save the Turtles" fund!!

For now, the Fair has our attention and more news to share there soon. So many fun things going on in all the blogs I have seen this Summer. Family trips, art events..... Such fun to see all your travels and adventures my friends! It reminds me of a favorite quote of mine for this Summer....

Truely Organic

I find Reminder's everyday in the Farmer's field behind my house. So Grateful for the glory revealed in all this beautiful, lush landscape. Then I saw this today.....I am the vine you are the branches. When you're joined with me and I with you, the relation initmate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. (The message) God is the greatest organic Farmer of all time!
I love that. Wishing you a day of Gratitude and Growth. I know I have had to grow lately. If you aren't there yet today, then just keep feeding and watering off of and holding gently to the Organic Farmer. Everything is made beautiful in it's own time. Love!!

Nerd book

Made this today for my friend Anjie and her family ............hope she likes it! (Sorry, Anj, Mike ate the nerds!.....He is truely the nerd then, right?) Thought maybe they will have a special day or event with the family this week that you can document in this mini book. My HP printer creates 2x2 photos and I bet yours does too. I wish I could remember who to give credit to. I forgot to save her Blog.........but she had made several great "candy" books. Let me know if you know of her! Hey, you know what else? This book just might.............just maybe........make you even go out and MAKE a fun goofy day of it! Don't forget to write goofy things in it too! I wish that for all you blog friends ~ a fun and goofy day this week to you!! XO

Honest Expression

Something struck me yesterday when I picked this book up at Church off of the welcome center table....and back from it's "tour"............. I mean literally it is falling apart! As I picked it up I noticed that the book "Spilling Open" has my name between it and "The Art of Becoming yourself" underneath. Me, personally! I AM becoming myself, it is an art and it is a process. Boy I needed to hear that! Although this isn't a Christian book, per say~ it is a helpful tool with so much honest expression that you can't help but think and ponder deeper into your own self.
This reminded me about another book of Sabrina Ward Harrison's that I have had for a year and not got into............ The True and the Questions......a Journal. Started that yesterday and wowie...........God is so good to give us just what we need when we need it. Today I am grateful. "Come off by yourselves; Let's take a break and get a little rest." Mark 6:31

Good things

Some days.... some weeks just need me to feed my creative self. Where I explore and move forward. Not as the world does, but as my soul yearns. I probably will do the same today. Being gentle with self this day. Hope you are too!

True Rest

I love what Kelly says here about rest and I happen to be very partial to Isaiah 30:15. You see, I have had this very day all planned out and when it just didn't go my way I quicky went to unrest. In the NLT Bible it says "In returning and rest is your salvation, in quietness and confidence is your strength, but you would have none of it." Oops! God offers rest, and it is like no other rest. He knows when we need it more than we can ever realize! We just need to hop (back) up to the table and recieve a big helping of that gift of rest. Again, I think what Kelly offers above is great advice and I hope you will read it! Melissa has started a bible study yesterday that you can easily catch up on here as well.

Remember there is strength in rest.

My Carly celebrated her 21st this past week......my sweet, sweet girl ~she's a shiner!

And Her sweet guy Colin.......well his sweet Mom made this adorable cake for Carly's gig.

Here is my baby girl Anna with the cool shades and the lovely sugar pie Jessica came too.

All these peeps were ours.......but the one in the middle, the cutie pie is my girl #2 Cassie.

My first baby girl Katie, is that sweet thing on the left in pink. She and Cassie organized our little get together Here at Upland brewery:) We were actually in the parking lot while they gathered our tables ......... the band was warming up back there too. Funny thing is that I thought these were my "warm up" pictures as well............but as it turned out, the inside was busy with talk and good things....but no more pictures happened. Reminds me that this is not a warm up folks.........this is all we have! Oh my I am encouraged to make the most of this day. Right now! I hope you do as well. If you are local~ check out the Zachary P May blood drive tomorrow at the History Center downtown!! 10am to 6pm. By appointment or walk ins........ Give life!
