It's a Party!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe we pulled this off in the back yard! It was a beautiful day with 300 or so beautiful guests. Katie and Danny were so sweet to greet all the friends and family. Nikki took pictures and good ole Mom and Dad were just happy to pull it off without a hitch! God has been so good to bless us with all the trimmings ~from the Vermont ceremony throughout the lawn party at home, we were blessed! Thank you to everyone who helped serve up this event with a smile! Those that pitched in to cook and serve and decorate were such a blessing!!

Pattermed by the Maker

Patterned by the Maker is a new series of artwork that I am thrilled to unveil at "Art and Soul" in November. I thought you might enjoy a sneak peak at one in the progress. This series depicts Our Lord Jesus on 81/2 X 11 canvas board. He is constructed out of Paper and paint. Each one will be unique just as you are all created to be! I love this definition of Pattern in the American Heritage Dictionary:

• 1a A model or an original used as an Archtype.
• b A person or thing worthy of imitation.
• 2 A plan diagram or model to be followed in making things.
• 3 A representative sample, specimen, or ideal.
• 4 An artistic or decorative design.
• 5 A composite of traits or features.
• v To make mold or design by following a pattern.

Our eldest Katie is married! The wedding took place June 3rd in Middlebury, Vermont. An abosolutly beautiful day was given to the happy couple and around 45 or so in attendance.
